Machinery breakdown insurance
As the name implies, this type of insurance insures the machines, devices, appliances and installation.
The insurance provides insurance protection for damage or destruction of objects insured due to the unexpected and sudden accident at the facility related to the usage of a machine, as well as due to clumsiness, negligence or malicious intention of a worker or some other person.
Insurance can be concluded for all devices, machines and appliances, or just for individual machines, devices and appliances.
Also, with insurance of damage on the machines, the scope of coverage can be expanded to:
- insurance costs for overtime, and work during Sunday, holiday and night
- insurance of depreciated value of the partial damage
- insurance of the usual cost of earth works (including paving), and normal costs of finding sites of damage (for cables and pipelines in earth)
- insurance of the risk of the traffic accident during transportation of the object insured
The requirement for machinery breakdown insurance is that your property is previously insured against the basic fire risk.
